Mr. Nice Guy
BOO.

Man…while everyone else is out this Halloween weekend, I’m at home, alone. Whole family is in the province for the long weekend.  I’ve been on bed watching tv and munching on left over food  all afternoon  (and dancing around the house). Then I got work at 7am again tomorrow morning. Blah! Just another usual lame day for the equally lame and boring me. Gotta go to church.

Rant’s over now. :(

Remember Christopher Lao? He’s the Law student who became infamous when he was featured in a news report with his floating car, reasoning out that he should have been informed, may commercial na si gago. Astig lng ng Marketing team ng BPI for coming up with this.

It’s interesting to note that Pat Evangelista’s quote was skewed more towards the negative — think in the context of the brutality and unjustness of the Maguindanao massacre — but wouldn’t you like to think that its positive meaning also stands true?

My Life In One Paragraph.

“I thought I understood it, but I didn’t… Not really. I knew the smudgeness of it. The eagerness of it. The idea of it. Of a “you and me.”

Paige Bradley created one of the most striking sculptures I’ve seen in recent times. Her masterpiece, entitled Expansion, is a beautiful woman seeking inner piece but fractured and bleeding with light. “From the moment we are born, the world tends to have a container already built for us to fit inside: a social security number, a gender, a race, a profession,” says Bradley. “I ponder if we are more defined by the container we are in than what we are inside. Would we recognize ourselves if we could expand beyond our bodies?”

She’s Thunderstorms - Arctic Monkeys #eveningsounds

THIS day.

Gah. This day is stressful. Thank god for good burgers.

Saw Patikul, Bahay Bata and Rakenrol last night at Cinemalaya’s last day with friends. Was planning to watch all movies that day but Zombadings is already sold out. Boo. Just went to Rakenrol’s after concert. Hapikaks (band’s name in the movie) played all the songs they sang on the movie. Screening will continue in UP. Hope to snatch tix for Septic and Ligo na U.
